"When women come together with a collective intention, magic happens." - Phylicia Rashad

On 3rd July 2024 I attended my second Wild Women Creative Day Out; hosted by the amazing Amy Fields and Becky Wood and set in Covent Garden London.
Imagine an eager group of creative souls pushing themselves out of their creative comfort zones, and encouraging one another in the most wholesome way.
A Unique Creative Experience
Getting a bit lairy for the sake of art in public is no walk in the park. Self-doubt can get in the way of creativity but the timed challenges set for us meant that we had to think fast, and use our instinct to get the shots we wanted.
To reward our bravery Amy & Becky took us to see our work come to life in print (with the help of Fujifilm's House of Photography) and exhibit our favourite pieces. In the end, we shot, edited, and printed our images in just a few hours!

A Gateway to Confidence
This being my second Wild Women Creative Day, I approached the experience with a new mindset. I really threw myself into all the challenges this time around after learning that I had a tendency to be a bit apprehensive and nervous last time. I was much more open to collaboration with the other lovely photographers and I came away from the day feeling much happier with my work.
Whether you are in front of or behind the camera on days like this, photography acts as a gateway to building confidence, both in yourself and others. I loved the images that were taken of me on the day and came away feeling amazing. That's the feeling that I love creating in my clients with my own images.

Personal Growth and Collective Success
The work I produced this time was more varied and creative than before, and I left the event feeling a sense of pride. I didn’t walk away thinking I could’ve done more.
This was amplified by the community feeling that comes along with the Wild Women days. The encouragement and support that you get from each other is integral to our collective success as ambitious women.

The Power of Brand Photography
The images taken of me during the event, captured by the talented Beth Hicks, Lauren Drage, and Becky Wood, made me feel creative, beautiful, and empowered.
This is what happens when your brand photography aligns with your vision - it captures your essence, boosts your confidence, and helps your business move you one step closer to the life you want.

Looking Forward
I absolutely loved every moment of the Wild Women Creative Day and can’t wait for the next one (they can't get rid of me now!)
I highly recommend joining us at the next event if you’re looking to improve your photography skills, connect with some awesome photographers (if I do say so myself), and create imagery you're truly proud of. You may even walk away feeling creative, beautiful, and empowered... What's not to love?
Keep an eye out on Amy's Instagram and Becky's newsletters for new event announcements.

So without further ado, here are some of my favourite shots from the day!

Wait, there's more!
And it wouldn't be a creative day without some behind the scenes silliness!
